In 2016 all of the Stress Outdoor® skills came together in the design of the new sled to be used by the USA World Cup skeleton athletes that will compete on the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Team during the 2016-2017 season. This will likely be the sled that is also used by the USA athletes in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. All of the Stress Outdoor® core skill sets came together: design, structural analysis and simulation, fluid dynamics simulation, transducer development, data collection and near real-time analysis to support this important program.
